Design your own Lantern

Wednesday 10. September | 1.30-3pm

In this workshop, kids will design and decorate their very own paper lantern!

They’ll start with a small lantern and learn simple decoupage techniques using glue and layers of colourful tissue paper. From bold brights to soft pastels, they can mix, match, and layer to create a glowing design that’s totally their own.

To finish, kids will choose tassels to add a final flourish before taking their lantern home ready to hang in their room!

This workshop is a fun way for kids to experiment with texture, colour, and layering while building fine motor skills and exploring their creativity.

AGE: 6–10 (younger kids welcome, just note they may need a little extra help)
