So you've downloaded the Indoor Easter Hunt Clues but now what?
.
Its totally easy and actually quite fun to organise.
I have explained what I do below, but, as always feel free to use this as a starting point to get you going and add in your own Easter traditions.
The clues can be used for any age group of kids, if there are no readers, an adult can help read the Easter clues. (You can read more about the benefits of using Easter Clues here)
At the end of this blog is a suggestion for the very little ones! Easter picture clues for pre-school/ kindergarten/toddlers.
Lets begin with Indoor Easter Hunt Clues...
*
To get started, simply count your treats and match them up with the clues to determine the easiest place to hide them based on their size.
It's important to make sure you have everything you need before you start hiding the treats, so you don't lose track of what you're doing.
Trust me, it's easy to get confused…
So this is what I would do…write what the treat is, where it is, and the number clue that has to be left with it, and so on.
Set the scene: My kids always wanted to leave a note for the Easter Bunny, I'm sure the kids felt like it was Christmas!
Leave clue 1 on the kitchen table with an Easter basket and and note from the Easter Bunny letting them know he’s hidden all the clues and he cant wait for them to find them all.
This really builds kids excitement and anticipation!
.
*(this is a picture clue - see how to do this style of hunt here)
Clue 1. could be: ‘I rain on you when you need a scrub, I'm very much like my friend the tub.’
Kids go running to the shower and hunt the treat, when they find the treat they also find the second clue…
.
Clue 2 ‘ This clue is near a magic box. We like to watch it every day, go and find it right away’
Kids go to the TV (or ipad) find the treat and clue 3..
And so on, I'm sure you get the idea!
The trick is to write it all down, so when you go hiding everything you don’t loose the thread of what your doing (believe me I’ve confused myself many many times!)
Some of my indoor Easter clues you can't prepare for.
Like the last one, where I like to hide the biggest treat (or most prized) in each of the kids beds.
Obviously I have to do this whilst they are hunting for the other treats so if you have someone to help you then that’s a bonus, one can help the kids and one can hide the treats. When they are outside finding the letter box clue for example I would quickly hide the treat in their bed.
This is a great solution for families who want to enjoy an Easter hunt but don't have a garden or outdoor space available.
Incorporating Easter clues into your family's Easter activities can be an excellent way to promote problem-solving skills, encourage teamwork, enhance language and literacy skills, provide opportunities for physical activity, and add excitement and anticipation to the holiday.
Whether you have younger children who can't read yet or older children looking for a more challenging activity, indoor Easter clues can be a fun and beneficial addition to your family's Easter celebrations :-)
